Where can we find you?
Just a quick 3 minute drive out of Turangi. As you leave turangi, en-route to the mountain, instead of turning left toward the national park - stay driving straight to the village of Tokaanu to find us.
What are your rental hours?
Our shop is open from 7.30am - 6pm every day, with a 9pm close on Fridays [not October] Please check our up to date hours on our home page or Google.
Do we get charged if the mountain is closed?
Nope. If the field doesn't open, simply return the gear by 10am for a refund or contact us to keep the gear until it re-opens
What if I'm unsure what days I will use the gear?
No worries, we will allow you to take the gear for as long as you need, and pay only for the days you used the gear upon returning. This way, you can take a few days off without returning the gear each time you don't use it
Can I fit out the night before?
Yes you can fit out and take your gear the afternoon before, for no extra cost.
I've hired before, can I get the same gear?
Yes, we save the EXACT sizing and details of each piece of equipment you hire. This means you can book the same gear online or call in advance, and we will have your exact setup ready to collect - just mention your name!
Can I extend my rental period?
Yes, unless the gear is needed for another customer, simply ring us to extend the rental.
Do I need to book ahead with sizes etc?
Unless you are a large group, or know EXACTLY what you need, its more efficient to visit us during our opening hours for a fitting session with our staff. We have plenty of gear so don't worry about missing out!
Can I hire gloves for snowboarding?
Sorry, we no longer hire gloves for snowboarding. We have a range of gloves for sale in store starting at around $25. Glove hire is more for sightseers and skiers.
