To be honest, we are a pretty relaxed bunch of people - so don't stress about the yellow tape to much! But we do appreciate you read and honor these rules upon hireage.
Rental Policy:
Rental total is charged upfront for the entirety of the rental period OR
Rental total is charged according to plans arranged in-store (example, plan to ski 4 out of 5 days, with a planned break day in which we will not charge for, and allow you to hold the gear OR
Rental charge is determined upon returning your gear on the last day of usage. We will calculate the days used by what you tell us (honesty system) and weather and then charge accordingly.
Each rental payment terms will differ depending on the customers needs, but is at Snowscene staff's discretion.
Daily rental applies from shop open - till close, not 24 hours from time of hireage. Gear needs to be returned by shop close, unless other plans are organised
Gear needs to be returned in the condition that it was hired, or with very minimal wear from natural usage. If gear is returned with unjustified reckless damage, you may be asked to pay a fee for repair.
If circumstances arise where you cannot make it up the mountain and have gear in your possession, we are happy to refund the amount if gear is returned in a clean, dry, unused condition by 10am, OR you have contacted us for other arrangements.
In the rare case of a ACCIDENTAL equipment breakage, you can hire that same or similar equipment from the RAL rental, and we will re-reimburse you the full amount of the RAL rental. If in doubt, contact us :)
Retail Purchases Policy
Equipment rented for demo with the intent for purchase will qualify you for a refund of the rental amount upon purchase of that demo product.
Refunds are available within 30 days of the purchase date. Gear will be inspected upon return, and if it meets the return criteria, we will refund to your account
All manufacture defects will be replaced of refunded by Snowscene.
If ski boots are purchased from Snowscene, and you are not satisfied with the comfort, we will continue to work on them for FREE until you are happy with them. After a year from purchase, you will then have to pay to have your boots modified.
